This page is only for conversion in NAD 83 Zone 3401, Northern Ohio.

The conversion function does some elementary bounds checking, but that is not the purpose of the page.

The actual edges of SPC Zone 3401 are irregular. A bounding box approximating the maxima of the irregular edges of the zone is used for bounds checking. For any coordinates having latitude between 40.2 and 42.1 and longitude between -84.85 and -80.45, a conversion value will be calculated. Coordinates outside the bounding box will not converted.

It is possible for coordinates to fall outside the defined zone 3401 but inside the bounding box, and these may still yield conversion results. Such results may be informally useful, they should even be accurate; but they should not be considered canonical. The user assumes all responsibility for conversion results from coordinates outside the actual zone.
